I founded Tokenschmiede to work close to the frontier of AI engineering and turn that work into useful applications. I build products, write code and work through the details that determine whether software earns a place in someone’s day.

My own work includes fape, a dictation app that puts spoken words into the application you already use, and Parts Room, coaching application work exploring AI-supported reflection. My background at HiQ includes private equity and invoice automation. Those experiences shape how I approach workflows, sensitive documents and the need for human review.

A player-coach, in practice

When I join your team, I contribute as a senior or lead engineer. I take on implementation, help with architecture and review, and improve how the team uses AI coding agents through real development work.

That means working on the things that make agent-assisted engineering dependable: clear tasks, useful context, small changes, careful review and verification. The goal is software you can operate and a team that can keep moving after the engagement ends.

Four ways to work together

• Build an AI product: from a focused prototype through integrations and deployment.
• Strengthen your engineering team: hands-on delivery alongside practical AI workflows and knowledge transfer.
• Harden an existing application: review risks in architecture, authentication, dependencies and deployment, then implement agreed fixes.
• Keep AI within your data boundaries: design local or on-prem applications around your infrastructure and review requirements.

The services page explains where each engagement fits and what we can work toward. I work directly with you. Scope, responsibilities and the first milestone are agreed before implementation.
